Q: Is there a chance I will get a photographer I have not met on my wedding day?
A:
No, Donnie Savage is currently the only photographer in the studio, his work can be viewed online or in person during a consultation.

Q: Do you offer a reduced rate if I book you for engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners?
A:
Yes, reduced rates are also available in combination with engagement portraits and bridal portraits.

Q: Do you require a deposit?
A:
Yes, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date
.

Q: How many shots will you take?
A:
A typical digital only wedding would have a minimum of 400 low resolution scans. From this either you, or Donnie will pick 50 High Resolution photos, yours to keep.

Q: Can you shoot film?
A:
Yes, it is available for an extra fee. With the advances in digital technology, both color and B&W photographic quality images can be obtained from the same digital image. Donnie uses a 16Mega-pixal camera which is capable of produceing up to 16x20 photographs with a quality and resolution which surpasses 35mm film cameras

Q: What kind of film do you use?
A: I use Kodak, Agfa, and Fuji Professional 120 and 220 film for a 6x4.5 camera. The color films is Kodak's Portra line which is engineered for portrait and weddings. For B&W films, I normally use film which produces a nice contract with low grain

Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes, for any events within one hour of Raleigh, NC there is no charge. There is an additional mileage fee for travel over one hour.

Q: What types of photo developing (printing) are available?
A: All types of photo printing are available when ordering images including sepia tone and black and white.

Q: Do you do digital retouching?
A: Digital retouching is available through KungFuRiot Studios at a reduced price or through a professional photo lab.

Q: What about the Engagement Photographs?
A: Engagement portraits are a great way to mark and remember this special occasion!  If you have hired dSavage Photography for your wedding, it's an excellent way to meet, and get comfortable with, the photographer.

Engagement photos are ideal for save-the-dates, announcements, and thank you cards.

Engagement portraits are available alone or as an add on to a wedding package. Engagement portrait sessions can be done on location or in the studio.

Q: What about Bridal's?
A:
Bridal portraits are the perfect way to get flattering and detailed photos
of your wedding dress.  It's also a great opportunity to test out your "day of" hair and makeup.  Donnie Savage offers unique styles of bridal portraiture that present a modern take on traditional bridal portraits.

Bridal packages are offered alone or as an add on to a wedding package. Bridal portrait sessions can be done on location or in the studio.
